This relaxed yet full itinerary gives plenty of pleasurable time by the sea, while offering much of cultural and interior interest – while not by the sea, you will enjoy the benefit of having a private guide and vehicle. Boat trips along jungle waterways, watching baby elephants being bathed, marvelling at the Buddhist splendour of the Tooth Temple in Kandy, learning about tropical plants and swimming in warm seas and clear pools – all await you on this charming journey, perfect for families with younger children.

 

 Day 

1. Depart London.
2. Arrive Colombo. Tfr to Waikkal. O/n Ranweli Village, FB.
3. Day at leisure. O/n Ranweli Village, FB.
4. Morning nature boat trip on waterways. O/n Ranweli Village, FB.
5. Day at leisure to enjoy many on-site activities. O/n Ranweli Village, FB.
6. Tfr to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage for visit. Continue to Elkaduwa, near Kandy. O/n Hunas Falls Hotel, FB.
7. Morning visit to Temple of the Tooth Relic in Kandy. Afternoon at leisure or optional: boating on lake, walking, miniature golf course. O/n Hunas Falls Hotel, FB.
8. Morning visit to Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens. O/n Hunas Falls Hotel, FB.
9. Tfr to Wadduwa. O/n Blue Water Hotel, FB.
10. Day at leisure. Optional: elephant ride. O/n Blue Water Hotel, FB.
11. Day at leisure. O/n Blue Water Hotel, FB.
12. Day at leisure. O/n Blue Water Hotel, FB.
13. Tfr to Colombo airport. Take return flight. Arrive London.
